Cookie Policy

By using this website owned by and/or operated on behalf of Space Lace LLC (collectively, “Space Lace,” “we,” “us,” “our”) to access www.spacelace.com

What Are Cookies and Pixel Tags?

  1. A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on locally your device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.
  2. Certain types of cookies or cookie-like functionality may be placed or activated through browser add-ons, including, but not limited to, Adobe Flash. While these cookies are stored differently, their functionality and purpose is generally similar to other cookies.
  3. Cookies are often used in conjunction with “pixel tags” (also known as “web beacons” or “clear gifs”). Pixel tags are small images that we, our analytics providers, and other third parties can use to interact with cookies and other tracking technologies. For example, we use pixel tags to evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising and marketing campaigns by determining whether you open and interact with the content in our promotional emails.

What cookies do we use, for how long and why?

  1. Cookies are either session cookies or persistent:
    • Session Cookies. “Session cookies” are stored for the duration of a browser session; when you close the browser, the cookie is deleted.
    • Persistent Cookies. “Persistent cookies” are stored for a preset amount of time (often between 90 days and two years, depending on the application) and are typically not deleted when a browser session is closed.
  2. We use session and permanent cookies to provide:
    • Basic e-commerce features such as user login and cart functionality.
    • A better experience through usage analytics and tracking.
    • Enhanced security such as preventing multiple failed login attempts and protecting transactions.
  3. Cookies store information that is necessary to access the Services, or helps to provide important performance data:
    • Necessary Cookies. Some cookies are necessary to allow you to browse the Services and access certain pages. Necessary cookies are required for the Services (or certain functionality on the Services) to work properly. We do not use necessary cookies to collect personal information about you. Disabling or removing these cookies may prevent the Services, or certain functionality on the Services, from working correctly or at all.
    • Performance Cookies. We use performance cookies to collect information about how our users use and interact with the Services, such as what pages are visited most often, how the Services are used and function, or how users navigate the Services. We use this information to improve the Services and their content. These cookies only collect aggregate information about the use of the Services, and thus do not collect information that can be used to identify you personally. Examples include:
